The odds are stacked 6 to 1 against you, and everyone knows it. Follow the journey of Matheson, a 21-year-old New Zealander as he hikes the 2200 Miles of Appalachian Trail. No support, no camera crew, just two friends on the adventure of a lifetime, determined to face the blistering heat, freezing cold, howling winds, driving rain, dangerous animals and crippling sickness with smiles on their faces. Can it be done, or will it all get a little too much?

I watched this whole thing. Seriously, I got emotional at the end. You are a champion. I'm no wimp but this really touched me.

Kieran O'Connor says:

somehow I cam across your video and you looked familiar. I think I met you in Damascus. You were from New Zealand but at first I thought you were from Australia like me. My apologies! I was called Spoon at the the time. I only got 80% of the way unfortunately. But congrats on finishing it,. awesome.

now I don't wanna go and lose all my gains

Sarah Coy says:

This video is so inspiring! I was also totally tripping when when you guys got to PA and crossed the Mason Dixon Line! At that time last year I lived only a mile from that very spot. I hiked that part of the trail so much last summer. It was so cool to see you passing though such a familiar place lol

Chiara ! says:

Still the best video ever.

Pascal Koe says:

This probably is the best film I've ever watched (stopped counting the repeats). It inspired me to go across the Alps from Stuttgart to Lake Garda with a mountainbike and the more I watched the film the more I want to go out myself and hike…. Maybe in some time my feet will be better and I am able to do so! But thank you very much for sharing your expirience!

Steven DeAtley says:

take a fishing pole next time you won't nee to pack so much food you can put about 300 size #10 fish hooks in a snuff can, most creeks you won't even need bait as you can just snag the suckers ,they are a very tasty fishbut they are full of bones, you might need a fishing permit but if you are off in the woods you may never see the possum police.lol

Felatio Jones says:

The most confusing part is the shot of them chugging from a 30 rack of diet pepsi.

Outdoorly says:
