The Coleman Sundome 4-Person Tent is designed for quick and easy setup, so you can spend more time enjoying the outdoors. Great for camping in warm weather, this backpacking tent is designed with large windows and a ground vent to help push warm air up and out to keep you comfortable. The WeatherTec system with patented welded floors and inverted seams helps ensure you stay dry if the weather turns, while the sturdy frame with Insta-Clip pole attachments stands up to 35+ mph winds. A rainfly with an integrated door awning is included to help keep rain from getting into the tent, and the durable Polyguard 2X double-thick fabric is designed to withstand the elements for reliable use season after season. This dome tent offers enough room for one queen size air mattress and comes with built-in storage pockets to help keep your gear organized. An E-Port makes it easy to bring electrical power inside the tent. The Coleman Sundome 4-Person Tent sets up in only 10 minutes thanks to snag-free continuous pole sleeves and packs away compactly in the included carry bag.Roomy enough for a small family, the Coleman Sundome 4 tent sleeps up to four people at a time in complete comfort. The Sundome 4 is outfitted with Coleman’s exclusive WeatherTec system, a series of technical features intended to protect you from inclement weather and nasty storms.

The tent’s interior measures 63 square feet–enough for up to four people. WeatherTec tents are built with a coated polyester fabric combined with anti-wicking thread, webbing, and zippers, all designed to keep you dry when the rain comes down. The tent’s welded waterproof floor and inverted floor seams, meanwhile, dramatically increase the water resistance by hiding the needle holes inside the tent and away from the elements. In fact, Coleman is so confident in its WeatherTec system that it exposes its WeatherTec tents to a rain room that simulates nasty downpours, and to a wind machine capable of blowing hurricane force gusts. The results? Even after the tests, Coleman guarantees its WeatherTec tents will keep you dry.

The Sundome 4’s interior is spacious, with a base that measures 9 feet by 7 feet and a center height of 59 inches–plenty of headroom for most people. In addition, the dome-style tent is engineered to keep you cool thanks to the adjustable Variflo ventilation and vented Cool-Air port. Best of all for travel-weary campers, the Sundome 4 sets up quickly, with two shock-corded steel poles, continuous pole sleeves, a pin-and-ring design, and InstaClip attachments. Other details include a rain fly; an electrical access port; a privacy vent window; an interior gear pocket; separate bags for the tent, poles, and stakes; and easy-to-follow instructions sewn into the durable carrying bag.

About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a “no light, no pay” clause–a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked–and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company’s current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won’t deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Coleman 4 person tent vs. 3 person tent. Length:: 0:35 Mins This Coleman 4 person tent kept us warm and dry on our camping trip this Memorial Day weekend. This was my very first time setting up a tent and camping out with 2 kids and 2 dogs in tow, and it took me just 15 minutes to set up the tent.Set up took 15 minutes from start to finish for a tent newbie like me with some help from one kid. Based on forum advice I got some tent pegs that were easy to drive into the ground so I did not use the…

Excellent in the rain! I have never been camping before, but bought this to take to a music festival. I chose this one based on prior reviews, as rain was in the forecast. It did not let me down! It rained heavily on Saturday night and throughout Sunday, and everything inside stayed perfectly dry. It was also very simple to set up and tear down by myself. I fit a queen size air mattress inside with room to spare, but I think this would be a tight fit for 4 people.

Storm Ready! I have camped in this tent two and a half times, and I love it. I say two and a half, because my third trip in the tent, I was forced out of it in the middle of Tropical Depression Nate up in Big Meadows Campground in Shenandoah National Park this past October (2017). It was holding its own for most of it, but eventually the rings came lose from the tent stakes and one tent stake came up out of the ground, and I had to flee my humble abode and dive into my parents’ van! I didn’t have the…
