How do YOU support your art? Any other creative job suggestions? πŸ€”

Leigh Cara says:

Kat! I just stumbled across your channel today and I'm amazed at how similar our stories are. I worked in marketing with MY mom in her real estate investment company and that opened up a whole lotta opportunity for me as a freelance marketer to support my performing career. Thanks for the awesome content you're putting out for our community! I look forward to combing through more of your content. Keep it up! β™₯️

I really appreciate how realistic this information is. Lots of helpful stuff. It's tough and confusing out there in the real world so it's great to finally hear something that can guide a person in the right direction!

Paris Aryanna says:

Very helpful! I've been working full-time desk jobs the past 2 years which has left me little to no flexibility to do acting. Now I'm looking into part-time work.. The easiest bet seems like nannying where I live so I think I'm going to try and go for that.

Thank you so much Kat for making a video on a topic I've been struggling with. To be honest I feel like I have no skills other than acting. And it's a struggle to get employed in other places because they're looking for people with experience. Which brings me back to the next point. I was surprised when you mentioned you use to do marketing because I started being interested in marketing recently. I want to learn more about it. And I think if I'm not acting. Marketing doesn't seem so bad. Could you tell how I could get started? Is there a course I could do? Thanks heaps πŸ™‚

Bonnie Crafter says:

I'm a massage therapist! I gave up my full time career to work in retail so I could have the flexibility to do acting and now I do massage for friends and past clients when I'm tight for money etc :):) great advice!
