Compact so it can fit easily in your backpack or bug out bag. Easy to pack. Comes with 8 ultra light aluminum stakes (these are included in the total weight with is 3 lbs even). Also includes a carrying bag. Poles are not included (they are included with the Trekker Tent 2.2 Combo Pack here www.amazon.com/dp/B07L39ZL99 ). Important Note: This tent is intended for use with trekking poles, no poles are included. However if you forget your poles it works fine with most any stick longer than 42 inches or can be tied between two trees. Total weight is 3 lbs with carrying bag and stakes. No Poles means No Problems, most tents come with cheap fragile poles which are the first things to break and make the tent worthless. Awesome Backpacking Tent for Big and Tall Person I recently purchased the River Country Products new Trekker 2.2 tent with the mesh side walls and have taken it on a weekend backpacking trip. Overall, it seems to be a great value. It is very fast to setup and take down. I camped on a damp creek bank with overnight temps between 60-70 and had no condensation isssues and plenty of ventilation with the mesh side vents open. Awesome Quality 3lb tent! I ordered this tent to go into my backpack, something that was light and not complicated to put together. My husband was well pleased with the purchase. It does not come with the poles for the front and back prop, but that’s stated in the description. Great bang for the buck I picked up this tent as an inexpensive, easy to use backpacking tent for me and my dog. We spent a couple of nights in it and it worked out great. No real rain to speak of but some wind and it was pretty chilly overnight (25-30°) and the tent held up great. There is more venting along the sides than I expected so that was good.
