One knife to carry in the woods I’ve used this to prepare onions and sharpen wood stakes. I haven’t noticed any vampires in sight ,so the stakes are working. I honestly see it as an outdoor kitchen knife with a pommel strike. If you don’t want to carry a Scandi knife or a Big knife, then this can work as the one knife you carry. Great Blade, fun project Great Blade! Meh handle, poor sheath. but I bought the knife already knowing those things.I removed the handles, stripped the finish and put a forced patina on the blade by boiling it in vinegar, before strategically blobbing mustard on it. Lighter than the other Ka-bars but holds an edge like one. Factory edge is shaving sharp. Not too different from the Ytube reviews. Like all Beckers it has that “Starship Troopers” look. The handle is, unnecessarily, huge, plastic and hollow, blade is painted with a pretty tough black epoxy.
