Cheap Chinese chipping chopper. Just got it and couldn’t wait to try it out. Went out and hacked down some ivy and worked great, then started cutting on some old half rotten pine branches and next thing you know there are big chips in the blade. Apparently some very bad heat treatment and or cheap steel.

Cool Machete Yes, this machete may not be as hard core as a Condor, Gerber, or Ka-Bar. I will still say that this thing is awesome. Arrived hair-shaving sharp, and fits very well in your hand. I can’t wait to put this tool through its paces and see how it does in my back yard. The only thing I would say is not ideal is the lack of a sheath. Super sharp high quality Bought for my husband over a year ago and he loves it. We take it camping and use it to hack up firewood. This thing is super sharp. Seriously watch your hands when cutting with this thing because he almost cut one of his fingers off and yet refused to go get stitches even though you could see bone.
