SAVE your knees when backpacking!! If you need a pair of trekking poles and cannot afford those 100$ ones, GET THESE! We are very happy with our poles and have taken them on many backpacking trips. They work well, are durable, adjust easily. I don’t know about you, but I am not a spring chicken anymore…. I WILL continue to backpack as long as I can, and these help keep me on the trail!
AWESOME I am a recreational hiker in Southern California. The mountains and trails here a very rocky and often involve boulder hopping and traversing over uneven terrain. Because of this, having trekking poles is a must. I reached out to Cascade Mountain Tech (CMT) to see if they would be willing to send me some poles to test out, to which, they obliged. Shipping was VERY FAST and I had new shiny poles sitting in a box on my doorstep ready for the great outdoors in a manner of days…
Inexpensive, Quality Trekking Poles I bought these for my niece, but tested them first in the rocky mountains of Arizona. She got a slightly used gift, but what a great gift it was!PROS:+ Amazingly inexpensive poles. I thought they were cheap at sub $30, and now they are sub $20.+ Strong aluminum with quality twist locks. The bottom line is, they don’t slip.+ They have shock-absorbers. I like shocks. I like the bounce when doing rock terrain all day. I’ve experienced no uphill energy…
