Exploring the Budawangs: Exploring the wonders of the Budawangs, cars based at Long Gully. 4 day pack-walking both on and off track exploring magnificent wilderness including The Castle, Mt Cole, Shrouded Gods, Monolith Valley, the Green Room, tunnels, arches and much, much more. Exposure, minor rock scrambling and rope work. Creek and river crossings: wet feet assured. Thick, dense and prickly bush – longuns and/or gaiters essential. Steep ascents and descents – bush camping. +/- 800m. 12-15km/day..

Day 0 – drive to Long Gully campsite

Day 1 – Long Gully, Kalianna Ridge, The Tunnel, Meakins Pass, The Castle summit, Cooyoyo campsite — 9km +850m/-350m

Day 2 – Mt Nibelung, Mt Mooryan, Shrouded Gods Mtn, Green Room, Mt Cole, Mt Donjon, Mt Bibbenluke (Opt Yarnda Lookout), Canowie Brook campsite — 12km +500m/-400m.

Day 3 – Corang Arch, Koora Hill, Snedden Pass, Yadboro River — 12km +200m/-900m.

Day 4 – Yadboro River, Long Gully 12km +200m/-200m.
